At the House of Icon Ball in Philadelphia, Legendary Maurice and Icon Sexy Lexi were acknowledged as the first Philadelphia parents of the House of Balenciaga. Their ongoing work to put together a family of individuals led to the House of Balenciaga being crowned House OTY at the Dorian Corey Awards Ball a year later. The House of Balenciaga has continued to make its mark in Philadelphia on and off the runway as one of ballroom’s organizations that donates time and energy to the needs of the community.
